Toshiba announces HDR5010 the first Freeview+ HD PVR

Toshiba have announced their first Freeview+ HD PVR box, the HDR5010. The new box will have a twin tuner to receive the HD signal and allow user to watch one channel and record another.
As per the name the box has a 500gb hard drive which is good for around 120 hours of HD recording. The box will also feature three HDMI slots and two USB slots. Like most of the new HD freeview boxes there is an ethernet port for future expansion, some say for external storage on the cloud.
Prices are going to be around £350 for the box with a release date of June 2010 just in time for the World Cup.
